Many women suffer from conditions of the vulva (external genital area) and vagina that cause long-lasting itching, pain and discomfort that is difficult to get rid of.  These symptoms can impact physicial and mental health and add to sexual dysfunction and relationship issues. Disorders such as these are not something women have to simply accept, however – treatment is available.

Washington University Vulvovaginal Disorders Clinic offers a unique service for women who are tired of dealing with these persistent problems. Each patient is seen in one visit by both a board-certified dermatologist and board-certified obstetrician/gynecologist who work together to most effectively diagnose and treat the condition. Our goal is to provide a comfortable environment for a private discussion and examination to determine the best treatment plan to improve the patient's quality of life.
