Washington University’s bone health program is a multidisciplinary, ambulatory care service for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of metabolic bone diseases—particularly osteoporosis and Paget's disease. The physicians of the bone health program are leading experts in the clinical management of osteoporosis and other metabolic bone diseases. We provide individualized care tailored to each patient’s symptoms, bone density, risk factors and test results.
All physicians interpreting bone density tests are International Society of Clinical Densitometrists (ISCD) certified clinical densitometrists. Since the bone health program is committed to the highest standards of quality in bone health evaluation, all personnel performing bone density testing are ISCD certified bone density technologists.
