6. International Referrals

Physicians and patients from countries outside of the United States may view a complete list of our Centers of Excellence available for International Healthcare Referrals or physicians may contact us by email, with a short summary of the patient's diagnosis and your initial treatment plan. We will forward this summary to the right department for review and follow-up. Although English is preferred, you may email in your own language.

The physicians of Barnes-Jewish and St. Louis Children's Hospitals are always interested in extending treatment to patients from countries outside the United States. We ask patients to coordinate their requests for second opinions or treatment through their personal physician or sponsoring organization. This is because a thorough review of records is necessary before we can determine if we can help the patient before any costs are incurred.

7. Information about office locations, maps and contact numbers for each department can be found on the Clinical Services pages of the web site. These may be also helpful for your patients.
