Cancer Center (Siteman Cancer Center): Siteman Cancer Center West County

In 2008, Siteman Cancer Center expanded services to patients in west county and those who find I-270 a convenient approach.  The Center is located one miles west of I-270 at Olive.

Multidisciplinary teams made up of oncology surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, nurse practitioners, psychologists, nutritionists and other cancer specialists, work together to provide cancer patients comprehensive care. Patients also have access to clinical trials offered by Washington University physicians, which can sometimes offer the best hope for successful treatment of many types of cancer.

A wide spectrum of services are offered, including medical  and surgical oncology physician care, chemotherapy treatment, on-side lab testing, CT-scanning, MRI, mammography,  blood transfusitons, and support programs,

In the spring of 2009, full capabilities for radiation therapy will be installed and ready to complete the spectrum of cancer treatment options.  Until that time, patients will receive radiotherapy at the Center for Advanced Medicine, 4921 Parkview Place, in St. Louis .
