Surgery / General Surgery - Hepatic, Biliary, Pancreatic, GI: About Us

Three board-certified surgeons, under the leadership of David Linehan, MD, have established themselves as the premier Midwestern surgical referral center for disorders of the liver, gallbladder, pancreas, and GI tract. They care for patients with malignant conditions of the pancreas, liver, gallbladder, bile duct, stomach and duodenum. Non-malignant conditions include gallstones, gastroesophageal reflux, swallowing disorders, obesity, hiatal hernia, acute and chronic pancreatitis, liver cysts and pancreatic cysts.

They are pioneers in minimally invasive (laparoscopic) procedures in HPB surgery.. Minimally invasive surgery, when possible, provides patients with shorter hospital stays, faster recovery, less scarring and less need for pain medication.
